CANTO 4
"What are they which are but four?
"Those Twelve Days"

Embroidery Whisperer:
"Four are the Evangelists"
"Green Grow the Rushes"
Spread the news, wake up and smell the coffee, open your eyes to the glory of the natural world. Flora and fauna, blooms and beasts, have their own subtle ways of pointing us toward the beautiful and the beneficent. In late spring and early summer, the welcome arrival of the wild wallflower, with its heady fragrance, often described as a mix of honey, clove, and warm spices, speaks to our senses of lazy days to come. Their deep yellow flowers, usually tinged with a terracotta orange, may not be the most spectacular portent of summer, but I have always loved its gentle assurance that the dark days are well behind us and we can safely 'cast our clout' with the passing of May.
Kentitrix:
"Four it is the Dilly Hour,
When blooms the Gilly flower."
"The Dilly Song"
Ah, yes, Sister, you call it the wallflower, in my sphere, it is the immortal Gilly flower, a shapeshifter with many faces. Its petals number FOUR, inviting us to explore beyond our own element into any one of the potent quartet: Air, into which its tall stems venture; Fire, the colours of its petals; Water and Earth, the two essentials of any plant. When the Celtic peoples carved their totemic stones, their circled crosses invoked the powers of the number FOUR, the Tree growing within the Garden, the Cross within the Orb, each of its extremities reaching for the impossible boundaries of infinity.
And ... when she left the Garden, the first woman took with her just one flower as a reminder of Paradise ... the white clover, whose three-leaved stems sometimes bore a fourth as a sign that not all was lost, that there was power in that number which came at the behest of those who called.

If your Life Path is ruled by FOUR, like those who first left the Garden, you will survive what life brings. You will overcome obstacles, you will ultimately always find your way to safety.
Let us take a little of FOUR's protection with us as we explore what the Number FIVE reveals
